Lochkov Tunnel is a part of the South-Western section of the Prague city ring. The tunnel has two separate tunnel tubes. The northern tube contains three lanes, the southern tube has two lanes. The photo shows architecture of the portal of Lochkov Tunnel with its technological object. This object contains for example technologies of backup power supply, camera system control, fire detection, security, the main control board, measurement of traffic volumes and physical characteristics, telephone and radio connection.
The Prague ring – the tunnel Šabatka (an ecoduct) 70 metres long, with intelligent traffic control of the tunnel and the flyover crossing the rivers Vltava and Berounka.
A demonstration of vertical traffic signs on the North-South arterial road in Prague. This arterial road crosses the centre of the city and essentially influences the traffic situation in the centre. It is one of the most heavily used roads in Prague.
The Prague ring is regarded as the biggest transportation structure in the Czech Republic. The picture provides a night view of an illuminated section of the 2.3-kilometers long flyover crossing the rivers Berounka and Vltava. This is the longest road bridge in the Czech Republic and it is situated between almost two kilometres long tunnels Lochkov and Cholupice. The structure is unique for Czech conditions. The bridge in Lahovice is a result of a demanding construction solution, constituting a structure lying on 88 pillars, with the highest one 40 meters high.
Technological equipment of Cholupice Tunnel on the Prague ring – portals with variable traffic signs and tunnel illumination. The whole technology of the Prague ring is controlled by the reliable system Kerberus ®, having been developed already since 1994.
The variable traffic signs are made on the basis of the LED technology, enabling fluent regulation of brightness or detection of failures even on inactive symbols, too.
